Army Navy and Wooden Sticks was completed in November 2003. It was a water color original highlighting action in the 1968 Army Navy game. The action shown here was typical of the competition that day which resulted in a 7-7 tie. This was before the days of sudden death overtime.This art is the more complete edition of the smaller sketch Navy Lacrosse; America's Sport which was completed a year earlier. Athletes in this image include Navy players Tommy Caouette, #7, Denny Colin, #13, and Terry Young, #11, of West Point.
The art print measures 12 x 18". The colored image measures 12 x 15", while the bottom portion includes a listing of scores of every Army Navy game from 1924-2003.
